The course aims to equip them with a thorough understanding in Occupational Health and Safety, Infection Control, Cleaning and Linen Methodology, the Healthcare System, Purchasing and Material Management, Math Applications for Environmental Services, Computer Applications and Communication and Inter-professional Collaboration for Environmental Services.

In the second year, the focus is on Healthcare Business Practices, Plant Operations and Systems Management, Management and Leadership Principles, Human Resources Management, Labour Relations, Cost Analysis and Financial Analysis and Budgeting. The healthcare management course also incorporates two industry field placements, allowing students to put their learning into practice and gain hands-on experience, which is much needed for seeking employment in this field. Additionally, they gain relevant industry contacts that can be used as references in future.

Enrollment Guide

Interested students can send their applications to the college, along with a copy of secondary school diploma certificate, and scores of English Grade 12 C or University or equivalent and Mathematics Grade 11 M or University or equivalent. You will also need to complete a course in Standard First Aid, CPR (Healthcare Provider Level) and take a mask fit testing provided by the college.
