Centennial College offers Full time Digital Animation Program

Admission Requirements

Centennial College expects students applying for admission to certificate or diploma programs to present at minimum an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent or be 19 years of age or older. Possession of minimum admission requirements does not guarantee admission to the program.

Academic Requirements

Compulsory English 12C or U or skills assessment, or equivalent

Non-academic Requirements

English proficiency will be considered in the admissions process
Program admission session
Portfolio review
Portfolios may include: illustration, photography, video animation, computer generated artwork, music, performance art or publishing
Select 10 to 15 pieces of your best work to submit. Presentation should be neat and simple and not distract from the work itself.

Note: Your work should show your curiosity about the way things look and move in the world around you. Animation is a means of creative expression, so your portfolio should demonstrate your ability to generate ideas.

Field Placement Requirements

Students are responsible for obtaining their own field placement

Synopsis

This document deals with the animation program in context to digital animation possessing visual effects. This program mainly focus on production-style training for the enhancement of innovative skills in film, television, broadcast design and game design.
