Centennial College offers Full time Game Design and Development Program

Admission Requirements

Centennial College expects students applying for admission to certificate or diploma programs to present at minimum an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent or be 19 years of age or older. Possession of minimum admission requirements does not guarantee admission to the program.

Academic Requirements

Compulsory English 12C or U, or skills assessment, or equivalent

Non-academic Requirements

Program admission session may be required
Portfolio assessment
A portfolio is a demonstration of your creativity and ability to communicate visually. Portfolio pieces may include: life drawings, sketches, paintings, sculptures or digitally produced artwork.
Select 10 to 15 pieces of your best work to submit. Presentation should be neat and simple, not distracting from the work itself.

Note: Preference will be given to applicants that can demonstrate some familiarity with one or more graphics applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, 3DS Max or Maya. Applicants who do not submit digital artwork will be tested to determine their level of computer proficiency.

Field Placement Requirements

Students are responsible for obtaining their own field placement

Registration/ Fees Requirements

You are responsible for registering and paying course fees before commencing field placement.
Any Additional fees you incur during Placement (i.e. travel, parking, etc.) are your responsibility.

Notes

Students will be placed in the appropriate English level based on skills assessment results

Synopsis

School game design enhance your imaginative, design, storytelling creative skills with reference with reference to educated professionals and highly knowledgeable instructors. Also, pursuing an advanced knowledge in context with various outstanding game industries will raise your standard of learning and developing this game program.
