Program Structure

The two-year program runs through four semesters and allows you to go inside PC hardware and into the details of operating systems. You will also put together and maintain systems to learn to have full human control of computer and computing technology.

In the first semester, you will study about PC hardware, operating systems, and web design, ethics in technology and environment, and mathematics for computer systems. In the second semester, you will gain knowledge in network technologies, electricity for computer systems, Windows server operating system, customer skills, and introduction to Linux/Unix.

The third semester covers network devices, network services, the physical layer, telephony, technical report writing, and statistics for computer systems. The fourth semester covers network security, data communications, computer forensics, routing and switching, technician project and introduction to business and ICT.

After Graduation

Once you graduate from this program, you may pursue your career and find employment as technical support staff, computer systems technician, network technician, network technical support specialist or help desk support.
